This is not racist, ...

..and I am a fuzzy pink unicorn.
The ballot measure to ban circumcision in CA was a good idea, but it goes down in flames with the sponsors putting out this, ... this, ... well, this

The Jews are upset. Gee, y'think they have a point? For extra irony, the comic [sic] was written and created by a guy named Hess. (Not Rudolf; seems more related to Julius Streicher).

See, in every organization you need someone who can be blunt and tell people they are full od sh*t.

Yeah, not clear on the "racist" issue (particularly since "Jewish" is a religion, not a race), but, let's see...

Jews, Muslims, people born before 1950 (like my parents), and a bunch of people who don't bother to think why they want to take a cleaver to Mr Happy. Which can turn out to be a real mess if done wrong.

(Do I need to mention that the last link is definitely more NSFW than Foreskin Man's phallic-headed emblem?)

Jewish is both a religion and a race. Judaism is a religion. I have never understood how the genital mutilation of girls is a crime but the mutilation of boys in carried out without thought. If a religion requires circumcision, should that make it less wrong? And if you are trying to stop the practice, don't you need to stop the religion from requiring it? If it is vile in your eyes, isn't the person who performs the procedure likewise vile? I haven't read the comic (the pages take forever to load) so I don't know if it even mentions the insanitary practices used by orthodox communities that decrease precision and increase the recovery time. The comic is absolutely racist in its portrayal of mohelim and orthodox Jews because their motives are so absurd and their actions violent. They aren't blood thirsty and they don't act against the wishes of the parents. Even though I do think mohelim are vile, I know that the problem is the institutionalization of genital mutilation, not the individual who does the circumcision.

This comic is the wrong way to push legislation to protect penises.
