We did it.

Well, we've done it. We just held a months-long campaign to examine who will best lead the most powerful and influential country on the planet; agonized endlessly over important issues--whether some people should get married, what should happen inside some people's bodies, insurance companies--etc.

 

We did it without ever mentioning how said job includes the business as usual murder of innocent children,  secret arrests, torture, and indefinite detention without trials. You'd think someone would have objected.

 

We did it without ever mentioning the impending threat to our way of life that will leave our grandchildren with mass extinction and in a couple hundred years a planet that's like the surface of Mercury. You'd think someone would care.

Crying Mormon Glen Beck has [GAY SEX!] a lot [SOCIALISM!] to say [BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE!]. It's all idiotic, but he concludes this about the American people

“if they’re so dead inside that they can no longer see the difference between good and evil, we have to be destroyed because we will be a remarkable evil on this planet.”

He's not wrong,  just right for the wrong reasons.
